These terms explain the rules for using Gadahere — your account, the wallet, buying and selling, fees and protections. Please read them carefully.
By creating an account or using Gadahere, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract and to hold an account under applicable law. You’re responsible for your account, your PIN and the activity that happens under it. Keep your login details secure and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use.
Wallet and payment services are provided in partnership with a licensed microfinance bank and are currently available in Nigeria. You agree to complete identity verification (KYC) where required, to use the wallet lawfully, and to authorise transactions you initiate. Funds are held with our banking partner.
When you buy, your payment is held in escrow and released to the seller when delivery is confirmed (via the delivery PIN) or automatically after the stated hold period. Sellers must list items accurately, fulfil orders promptly and honour the terms agreed in chat. Buyers must confirm receipt honestly and may open a dispute if something is wrong.
A Transaction Protection Fee of 3.5% per transaction (capped at ₦500,000) applies, covering escrow, dispute resolution and buyer protection. Optional paid vendor plans and product boosting have their own prices, shown before you buy. We’ll always make fees clear up front.
Vendors are responsible for their products, descriptions, pricing, and for complying with applicable laws. Team members you add act on your behalf — you’re responsible for their actions on your store. Misrepresentation, counterfeit goods or repeated disputes may lead to suspension.
Don’t use Gadahere to break the law, defraud others, sell prohibited or unsafe items, send spam or abusive messages, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to disrupt or misuse the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You keep ownership of the content you post (products, photos, videos, messages), and grant Gadahere a licence to host and display it to operate the service. The Gadahere name, logo and software remain our property.
If a transaction goes wrong, open a dispute in the app. We’ll review the order, delivery status and any evidence, and may mediate, refund eligible buyers or support approved returns in line with our buyer-protection policy.
Gadahere is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep the service safe and available but can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and we’re not responsible for the conduct of buyers, sellers or third-party partners beyond our stated protections.
You can stop using Gadahere at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or pose a risk to users, subject to settling any pending transactions and obligations.
We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here and notify you where appropriate. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
