Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we keep your information and your money safe on Gadahere.
We collect information you provide when you create an account (such as your phone number or email), set up a wallet or store, and use Gadahere — including messages, orders, payments and content you post. We also collect technical information such as device, app and usage data to keep the service secure and working well.
We use your information to provide and improve Gadahere — to power chat, payments, the marketplace, escrow and delivery; to verify identity (KYC) and prevent fraud; to send you transaction and account notifications; and to provide support. We do not sell your personal data.
Wallet and payment services are provided in partnership with a licensed microfinance bank. To open a wallet and transact, we (and our banking partner) may verify your identity as required by law. Your funds are held with the bank partner, and payment information is handled securely.
We share information only as needed to run the service — for example with our banking and logistics partners to complete payments and deliveries, with vendors or buyers you transact with (to fulfil orders), and with service providers who help us operate. We may also share information where required by law.
We use encryption, access controls and other safeguards to protect your information and your money. Escrow holds buyer payments until delivery is confirmed, and a delivery PIN protects every order. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
You can access and update your account information at any time, control notifications, and request deletion of your account subject to legal and transactional requirements. Contact us to exercise any rights you have under applicable law.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Gadahere is not intended for people under the age permitted to hold an account under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
